AWG SYSTEMS

An Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) is a device that pulls moisture from humid air, condenses it into liquid water, and then filters and purifies it to create safe drinking water, acting like a dehumidifier but with advanced filtration for potable use, ideal for areas with water scarcity but requiring specific temperature and humidity levels (above freezing, typically >40% humidity) for efficiency. These systems range from small home units to large commercial setups, often using cooling coils and filters to remove dust, odors, and microorganisms, with some models offering hot/cold options and solar power integration.

How it works
Air Intake: Ambient air is drawn into the unit by a fan.
Cooling/Condensation: The air passes over cold coils (similar to an air conditioner), causing water vapor to condense into liquid water as it reaches its dew point.
Collection & Filtration: The collected water goes through multiple stages of filtration (including carbon, dust filters, and sometimes UV light/ozone) to remove impurities, odors, and pathogens.
Purification: Further purification makes the water safe for drinking, often with options for heating or cooling.
